What is a team?
The entire board that you see in standard/ home view represents one "team". You can use this "team" to show your whole company, or you can create different teams for different units in your company or for different clients, wehn you are a consultant.
Team settings
Depending on your subscription, you can open more than just this one team.
FREE > 1 team
GO > unlimited teams
You can do so by clicking on the team name in the top navigation:
Create/ edit teams
In this setting you can
Enter the name in the last white row and click on "add new team". You will then see the new team in the "teams" dropdown in the top navigation, chose it and start working on it! Use the onboarding wizzzard to help you, if you like. Possible in GO subscription only.
If you not want to see a team in the teams dropdown, but are not read to delete it, you can archive it. Use the tick boxes for that.
Copy teams
If you want e.g. to create a different version of team you created prior, just make a copy and do a V2 :) Attention: If you are using reports, team members will see both teams in their reports. Delete their email address (inside the people tool) in the team you do not want them to see yet, to avoid that. To copy a team please use the copy icon next to the tick box.Transfer teams
If you are a consultant working in your own account, you can transfer a client team into their own account, once your assignment is over. To do that click the transfer icon. (see article below for more info)Delete teams
If you do not need a team anymore you can delete it entirely. If you are not sure, maybe archive it rather ;)
Download templates
The 2nd setting in the "teams" dropdown, is "download templates". This is another way to start a new team - by using one of our master templates so you do not have to start at zero.
