There are 2 notes areas to be found:
- On top of the 7 lists - to explain what you use each ist for
- In each tool - to make notes on status, topics in discussion, next steps, etc.
Let's go through them both in more detail:

Why?
Examples:
- Skills = Our portfolio
- Circles = Business units or task forces
- Domains = products or regions
You can change the names of the lists (see > Personalization) and use the notes boxes to explain what you use each list for.
Switch on/off
If you do not need this features it can be toggled off in the settings:

If you want the notes box in some lists and in some not, you can toggle it on and off for each list seperately in the lists settings (3 dots on top right):

Notes areas inside all tools
Inside the tools, where you define the details of skills, roles, domains, circles, etc., you now have the ability to leave notes. These can be used, for example, to track the status or add context to the definition of a specific item.
